Richard Cardillo is General Counsel of Moontower. Prior to joining Moontower, Richard was a partner at DLA Piper, where he practiced in the firm’s Investment Funds group and was rated by Chambers and Legal 500. While at DLA Piper, Richard also served as a faculty member for the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA), where he taught classes on the private equity industry.  

Richard began his legal career in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP.  

Richard received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School and a B.B.A. from The College of William & Mary.
